Celebrating Margie Tolbert: 34 Years of Dedication at AHW
After exactly 34 years of unwavering service, dedication, and countless memories, Margie Tolbert is officially retiring from our Dwight location.
Margie’s journey began in 1991 at Hogan Implement, where she stepped into the service department as a service clerk. Hired to assist the service manager, she quickly became an essential part of the team. Over the years, as Hogan Implement evolved into Hogan Walker and later AHW, Margie remained a steady presence, ensuring the service department ran smoothly for nearly 22 years.
But Margie’s role extended far beyond organization—she was a problem solver, a customer advocate, and the one who made sure everything added up just right. Later in her career, she transitioned into the sales department, where she continued her behind-the-scenes work, meticulously inputting purchase orders and assisting with processing tasks. While numbers were her specialty, it was her ability to connect with people that made her an invaluable part of AHW.
Reflecting on her time at AHW, Margie didn’t pinpoint a single moment that defined her career. Instead, she spoke about the daily challenges and triumphs that made her work fulfilling. She thrived on finding solutions, overcoming obstacles, and making sure things were done right.
When asked to sum up her career in three words, Margie chose:
➡️ Challenging
➡️ Interesting
➡️ Rewarding
As she steps into retirement, Margie is looking forward to a slower pace and more time with family—especially her husband and 18 grandkids.
Margie, on behalf of all of us at AHW, we extend our deepest gratitude for your dedication, hard work, and the incredible impact you’ve made over the past 34 years. Your perseverance and commitment have left a lasting mark on our company and team. While your presence will be greatly missed, we wish you nothing but happiness and relaxation in this next chapter of life. Enjoy your well-earned retirement!
